Amigo Play 1.2

Amigo Play is a developmental program aimed at parents and caregivers of young children, primarily ages 0 to 3 years. Designed to support both new and experienced parents, the platform offers insights into early childhood development alongside practical tips, tools, and activities to enhance caregiver-child interactions.

Research from Harvard University underscores the importance of this formative period, with over one million new neural connections forming every second during early childhood. Rapid brain growth during these years establishes a foundation that can influence future development significantly. Caregivers play a crucial role in this process, and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities can foster optimal growth.

The program was developed by a multidisciplinary team of Pediatric Early Intervention Specialists, comprising Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists, each with expertise in working with children under three years of age.

• Play - Interactive activities tailored to your child's developmental stage. Participants receive guidance on how to effectively engage in these activities with their child and can track progress over time by providing feedback on their child's responses.
• Learn - An expanding library of educational content focused on important developmental topics. Videos and articles aim to deepen understanding of your child's growth and learning processes.
• Classes - Weekly live-streamed sessions covering various relevant topics. These classes include real-time Q&A opportunities, allowing caregivers to consult with pediatric professionals and specialists directly.
• Referral - For children requiring additional support, users can request information about local resources and services to obtain further assistance tailored to their needs.

The application and its content are available in both English and Spanish to accommodate diverse user needs.
